No Pain No Gain

Felt lousy when I awoke this morning.  Somewhat breathless, weak, dizzy, and sleepy.  It has occurred to me that I am probably detoxing and undergoing a cleansing/healing crisis as a result of consuming more Green Drink lately.  I think I will fix some eggs and toast for breakfast to slow down the detoxification process a bit.  Have to expect some discomfort as I progress toward immaculate health.

Felt somewhat better after a long nap and went outside for some fresh air.  Once out back, I spied the pile of small firewood I had under a tarp.  Decided to cut it up with my circle saw before we get more precipitation.  Felt good to move around and I resumed the Nickel Farm Journal update I had commenced earlier in the day.  The grass is starting to green up in between snowstorms.  Spring is on its way and life is good.

Snow Removal

I am glad I came to the city yesterday because we got a pretty good snowstorm last night.  Spent a few hours shoveling snow off my daughter, Amy’s walks and driveway.  I hauled some of the snow in a dumpster to construct a sled run for my grandkids.

Glorious Snow

Eight inches of glorious snow fell last night and more is expected today and tonight.  Glad I was finally able to complete my sawing project late yesterday and get the wood around to the front.  Can’t chance hauling it to the shed so will find a place for it in the garage.  I cleaned and rearranged the garage to accommodate the firewood, unloaded it, then headed to the city for the weekend.
